07/12/08: Sermon: Feast 2008
This feast of Tabernacles is unique in the sense that there was not to be any organized feast sites for the followers of Ronald Weinland to attend. Weinland had made this decision as of last feast of Tabernacle. Since, Ron’s original timelines for end-time events concerning the Daniel 12 prophecy have failed to be fulfilled as Ron declared to the world, there will indeed be a feast of Tabernacles. This feast will be unlike feast of the past, because Weinland claimed that God had given him special instructions (rules) for his followers to obey during this special 2008 feast of Tabernacles. These rules of engagement for this special feast will prepare Ronald’s followers for the remaining feasts of Tabernacles during the next 3 and one-half years of Great Tribulation. Last year, Weinland told all of his followers that they should send 75% of their 2nd tithe into the church and should only keep approximately 25% of their 2nd tithe for expenses during the upcoming 2008 Holy Days.
Rules of Engagement:
#1: No one is to travel long distances for the feast, and no one is to assemble for more than four days.
#2: Everyone is to remain at home, except they may assemble for a maximum of 4 days. They are not allowed to assemble for 7 days if they are financially able.
#3: Everyone is to remain in their assigned region/area
#4: Everyone is to set aside time each day to come before God and listen to Weinland’s daily sermon.
#5: There is not to be any work on the Sabbath or on the first and last day of the Feast of Tabernacles because these are Sabbaths and annual Holy Days. No work is to be done on these days.
#6: Work is permitted, if needed during the other days of the feast, if these days are not Sabbaths or Annual Holy Days. Time must be set aside for personal assembly before God and one must listen to the daily sermons given by Ronald. Weinland still claims that the purpose of the feast of Tabernacles is to spend time with family. Do a family project – like work together and paint one of the children’s bedrooms.
However, Ronald and his wife Laura, will be attending the feast of Tabernacles 2008, in New Zealand, and will be in Australia for the remaining days of the feast. They will not be experiencing the feast at HOME – like all of his “followers” should be doing!!!!
Weinland stated that it is important for everyone to experience this feast and “obey” and adhere to the “rules” that he has given. Weinland concluded that this would be good experience for everyone, because during the next 3 and one-half years of Great Tribulation, it will be difficult to assemble in a large group at one particular location. According to Ronald, many of his followers will have to observe the Annual Holy Days including the feast of Tabernacles by themselves after the Great Tribulation is underway.
Weinland does suggest that his followers download and store various sermons of the past for the Annual Holy Days, so they may listen to these sermons on these particular days in the future, if they are not able to hear Weinland’s sermon “live” via the internet.

BACK TO INTERVIEWS AND SERMONS
How can these people give a two hour sermon and not preach any of the gospel of Jesus Christ? This guy talked for a long time and did not make any sense to me. Seems like another case of “the truth has been hidden from mankind………UNTIL NOW”
I predict RW is going to pull a Jimmy Swaggert and confess to his congregation that he has been deceived by the devil.
By the way, I am not a prophet or a psychic. I’m just someone who can’t understand why people are following him. I have been listening to his sermons because Comedy Central can’t match his content.
Well, it is alleged that Weinland’s membership worldwide is approximately between 300-500 people. Many have left after his first timeline failed and Weinland failed as God’s true end-time prophet and witness. He has spoke presumptuously, but denies this because he blames his God for not giving him enough information about his plan for end-time events and how they are suppose to occur. Yes, it is a drama, and many of us spend way too much time on Weinland’s prophetic story; but, there are many who have been helped because of our blogs and the information that conveys a message of caution before getting “hooked” on Weinland and his beliefs.
